Finally choose file transfer of USB. Your phone Google account gives you up to 15 GB of cloud storage space. Install Google Drive App on your laptop. You can also use Dropbox or One Drive. When Google Drive is setup, then sign in and select 'Backup of file type' and click on Next.

On the next screen, select advanced settings and select 'See my drive to this computer' and tap on OK. This will create a Google Drive folder on your computer. Everything in this folder can be synced to the drive account. If you want to upload files to your phone, you put them in the drive folder and download them to your phone.

You can also take files on phone through email and other messaging Apps. You can send attachments up to 25 MB on Gmail and you can send up to 2 GB of data from a site like Wetransfer, that too without registration and absolutely free. Just go to Wetransfer.com, enter your email id and attach the file and send it. You can download these receive files for seven days, after which these files will be automatically deleted.

Bluetooth is the best way to transfer small files. 

For this, you have to pair the phone and laptop first. Go to Settings and go to device and then turn on Bluetooth. Bluetooth must be turned on, on your phone too. To share the file, go to the settings and go to the device, select send and receive files via Bluetooth and send the file.

By applying these small tricks, the internal storage of your smartphone and computer can be emptied easily.
